課程概述

「社會痛苦」（social suffering）乃是批判理論傳統中的重要議題。相較於文化人類學在探討社會痛苦時，主要關注明顯可見的痛苦經驗，如貧窮、戰爭、飢荒等，批判理論則更致力於呈顯出當代資本主義社會生活裡的隱性的、有時難以覺察的負面感受。本課程探討法蘭克福學派如何就不同的現象、以不同的取徑，診析現有的社會條件何以普遍造成社會中個體之痛苦。
 

課程目標
 認識批判理論傳統對社會痛苦之討論。
